I LOVE baths
There is something about being submersed in hot water up to your neck after a long day of (house) work. The hot water soothes all the kinks out of your tense muscles and helps to prepare your body for a restful, relaxing night of deep sleep.

Since I love baths (and bathing in general) so much, naturally I love everything that goes well with water. Like soap, bubbles, steam and my newest product....Silk Bath Tea.

Silk Bath Tea is just what you think it is. It is a big tea bag full of skin soothing, softening and moisturizing ingredients!

In each bag you will find  the perfect blend of;

• Dead Sea Salts
• Coconut Milk
• Oatmeal
• Silk Protein
• baking soda
• Cornstarch
• Blend of therapeutic herbs

Currently there are 4 different types of herbal bath tea blends available: Relaxing, Romance, soothing

Soulful Soap Review on Metroland Media

Earlier this month I was contacted by a writer from Metroland Media to do a review on my soaps for their Chritmas gift idea blog. I was on board right from the get go. I shipped off 3 bars of my best selling soaps to let their writer review and come up with a write up that he thought best described my soap!

The Never Ending Supply of Soap!!

 I know Halloween JUST finished and its now onto the next holiday...yup, I'm going to say it CHRISTMAS!! I could celebrate all things Christmas all year. I love it that much! I love the lights, wreaths, christmas villages, festive storefront windows, the gathering of loved ones over warm comforting meals and yes, even the snow...I LOVE snow!
The part I dislike the most about Christmas are big box stores and the dreaded trips to the mall. I am actually proud of myself I have not done a single christmas shopping trip to my local mall in 3+ years. I stick to independently owned shops and buy from local artisans, I support local at any opportunity I can. There is a extraordinary amount of talented people living amongst us creating beautiful and unique things.

 Some years I struggle to come up with unique and useful gifts. For anyone that knows me I ALWAYS give useful gifts. I hate the idea of something sitting on a shelf collecting dust. I sometimes rotate giving a useful gift to different people different years (or the same)..secrets out!

Limited Edition Spring Soap.... CANADIAN MAPLE

Every spring in cold climates when the snow starts the melt a variety of maple trees convert starch that is stored in their trunks and roots to sugar! This sugar rises with the sap in the spring that is then collected from the trees and boiled down to wonderful sweet MAPLE SYRUP.  Maple syrup was first discovered by the aboriginal people well before the Europeans settled into North America. Thank You!

Every March I look forward to maple syrup month here in Ontario. There are lots of little festivals that celebrate the goodness that nature has to offer in the form of pancakes and maple syrup!

October Update!!

It has been a while since our last post. We have been busy here at Soulful Soap creating and making tons (and I mean tons) of soap!!

September came and went we had 2 very successful market events (SuperCrawl & Fall HandMade Market) We got see to a lot of our repeat customers and made lots of new ones!

The Month of October is another busy month for us. Prepping for Christmas (yes we are so so excited) and a large 3 days craft show out in Durham October 28th, 29th and 30th. (www.showsdurhamregion.com).

Soulful Soap is introducing another 100% natural bar of soap to our line, Organic Green Tea Eucalyptus.

St. Jacobs Market

Thanks to all who came out to see us at St. Jacobs Market last Saturday. Being the first long weekend of the summer 10,000 visitors were there to soak up the sun and enjoy the many unique vendors offering everything from fresh produce, garden plants, wonderful food and of course Soulful Soap!
We got to meet plenty of wonderful customers and received lots of fantastic feedback! We will be back at the market June 16th and 18th.

This soap is made with strong brewed coffee and coffee grounds to gently exfoliate and remove the kitchen stink. The bar smells of mild coffee thanks to the strong brewed coffee and grounds!
